Cold waves and sun

Georgian Bay near Collingwood

After being bummed about skipping on Thursdays weather due to negative temps, rushed out after work Friday, as the sun made up for the cold temps.

Saw the wind/waves were better than expected during my lunch break, but decided to save the "get off work early" requests for bigger/warmer days.

Rigged up and launched at home, conditions were dying and the waves were not breaking nicely. Maybe with the increasing depth the past 2 years the shoal here doesn't work as well with small waves. Was still good to get some wave practice and use the tips I read over the winter.

Went back to pack up the sail after dinner and rig was all frozen solid! Decided to leave it overnight and packed it up in the morning... the benefits of living near the water.

Hope some more NW shows on the forecast soon!
