Skunked yesterday, nuking today
San Francisco Bay Candlestick Park
Beautiful nuking day which was a stark contrast to the day before.
Both days had the sensor reading 18-19 avg, gusting 28-30 and lulls of ~10.
Only difference was the ocean buoys reading SW (yesterday) and NW today.
On the water this went from yesterday being a total writeoff with big white-capping gusts bringing 4.5 wind and today it being steady to strong 4.5 all the way to shore with gusts on top of that.
Sofi and Asma had rigged 3.8 when I arrived and Sofi was prepping a helmet cam, and proceeded to play cameraman on the water while myself, Asma a bunch of guys from Cal Sailling who made the trek to Candlestick proceeded to play.
Crashed lots and looped once for the camera, though I'm taking it easy with loops after tweaking my neck so many times. In the end, had a great session despite all the strong gusts. Good times and good energy on the water.
Strong winds, 4.2 would have been perfect. Windy all the way into shore and really choppy/windy on the outside.
