Sauble Goes BIG!! :)

L Huron Sauble

The trees were bending already at 7:00 am from the SSW and the radar was clear up this way. On the water by 9:15 for a sideshore session for the next 2 hrs. Around 11:30 the approaching cold front could be seen approaching by the distinctive cloud formation and line of rain, so it was time for a break and re-fueling!! Round 2: the wind was now cranking from the NW and the waves were jacking up! Rigged up the smallest kit I had with me and slashed, bashed and surfed waves down the line for the next 3 hrs. On the outside I could only see the top 3' of the mast from the Windsurf sail when he was behind the big waves! Definitely a 10 kinda day! Cheers, BK
