Gentle Start

Columbia River Gorge Swell City

I finally gave in to Dave’s constant pestering for a “morning session” at Swell – well sort of – we got there at 11:00 am. Four of us (Dave, Mike, Chris, and myself) had Swell all to ourselves! We were treated to gentle wind and small rolling swell in the sunshine. That is until the cloud rolled in and shut it down. It was fun while it lasted – jumps, duck jibes in the cove, jibes in the gentle swell, and even a few forwards (sail only) for Dave. It was a great start to the day with the promise of more wind out east later in the day. It was a gentle session but the stoke was high!
