Lake Simcoe Heritage Farm private oroperty
At about 3.15pm I decided that I'd rather get stuck on the water then on the 401 to get home after spending a few days up here. Rigged a 7.0 for under powered conditions hooked it on a 120L and took off. Had to work it at first to keep her on a plane, but managed without much of a problem. Wind kept on building, so decided to stretch outhaul/ downhaul and change fin. By the time that was ready, decided to rig 5.7 / 95L. Good decision. The wind filled solid to lower 20's and the waves started to fill in. Good choice of setup. Sometimes I felt that I could have been on 5.2, but no big deal. By 7pm the wind started to subside, so I called it a day. The wind was nice and steady, and the waves were avraging 4ft with the odd sections of head high swells rolling in, with the usuall voodoo chop in between. Managed to nail some decent rides and jumps. Now I need to find balls for forward attempts...Maybe tiomorrow, since I decided to stay 1 more day due to best wind forcast up here.
Sunny, warm, windy
