She teased, then......

Quite unexpected white caps showing in early afternoon. Was only maybe 5 knots on shore but looked do-able further out The bay not nearly as choppy as Humber. Knew It was going to require a couple of pumps to plane so eased off the downhaul and gave more adj. in outhaul. Scored some nice balanced runs upwind into flat water behind breakwall. Seemed more consistent so stayed there. Locked in, felt great. Gonna ask Santa for a stiffer fin to compare with the Debochet.. All in all well worth it. Feeling more used to board -sail setup. Going 15-18 knots in 8 knots of wind is cool.
