What a Great Last Day

Pamlico Sound Avon

Today was a bit cooler and finally a NW wind. She kicked in at 1100 with me and the neighbour out at 1130 with the winds solid between 20-25 knots. Headed out on the 5.7 and 93, perfect combo and left the water at 1600 still wanting more but had to cook and pack for the trip home.

Abosolutly the best Hatteras trip so far for me, sailed all six days, if on my own I would sail tomorrow to make it a sweep but leaving early morning.

Sorry riNR, no pics today but if you could imagine, the sound was full of whitecaps and there were easily 20+ windsurfers out today all on sub 6 and everyone was smiling huge!!

Weather Conditions

White caps and windy
