Yo-yo wind

Lake Simcoe Beaverton

Wehn we first hit the water it was great. I took out an 82L F2 wave 254 and tooled around on it to make sure it was the nightmare I remember. Really slashy board, carves up wind like nuts when powered and is scary fast when hunkered down into slalom mode. Took the GPS and was getting some pretty good speed readings though not even pushing it or dialed in yet. Wind backed off as I decided to wave ride my way in behind the shoal and then had a heck of a time getting out of there with too little board. Switched to the 91 and a big fin and got some more runs but the wind was just teasing us the whole time. I was kind of glad it was not nuts so that I would save some energy for SBX tomorrow.

Weather Conditions

Some nice rideable swells in sections when the wind was up.
