Gave it a shot

Georgian Bay Beach 1

Gave it a shot today at beach 1. With a dry suit and palmless gloves was not cold at all in fact sweating. Straight shot off the beach. If you ever wanted to learn to back loop this was the day. Being the only one on the water, I chickened out, next year! Wind was completely side shore meaning every turn, waveride etc took you straight down wind. After a hour of sailing had to do the longest walk of shame since the summer of '99. With the clocks going back this weekend, could be the last session of the summer. For those who didn't make the trip you did not miss much. Quite anti-climactic after last Thursday. Did notice the ski hills were covered with fresh white snow. Time to bust out the skis.

Weather Conditions

Large swell and onshore waves, wind totally side-shore
