Nice surprise.

Lake Simcoe Beaverton

Showed up to an empty park and little wind. Rigged 8.5M on the 125 L Rocket as the wind was starting to build. It was odd because readings at Keswick was WSW and 18 mph, but there it was NW and light. Got on the water and it filled in quickly to the point that I couldn't hold on to the 8.5M much longer in the gusts. Came in and rigged the 6.4M on the 106L Flare and had a blast on that after torturing myself on the 8.5M for the first hour. Surprisingly some nice little rolling waves to ride on the way out and in. Bob Montgomery showed and ripped around with me for about the last 1.5 hours. One kiter out kiting and some newby kiters getting dragged.

Weather Conditions

shifty winds but fairly consistant, nice swells in spots
