Biggest sail, smallest sail
Balsam Lake South Bay
Tried 7.5 regime in the morning, traveled a km or so upwind but was getting tired and overpowered. The Irene-driven north wind really started to pick up, funneling into the bay, up to 25 knots (?) from 1:00 to 2:00. The chop started to smooth out. Waveboard and 4.5. Got on this gear thrice this summer, and that is rare. Late afternoon it shifted NW and was much stronger in the main lake. Very cool to see the edge of the front on the horizon all day, blue sky.
