Quick sightseeing session at Crissy
Central Bay Crissy Field
Renee showed up in town from Australia so we took her down to Crissy to take in the sights. I also used the occaision to get on the water a bit and have some fun.
Davide was just coming back to switch to a smaller board so based on his feedback I went for some smaller gear and hit the water.
Voodoo chop and port jumping was the name of the game for the first 20 minutes before the wind shut down and everybody was bobbing around. Eventually it came back up and I went out for a few more runs before de-rigging so we could head home.
When the ebb kicked in, the chop cleaned up into normal bump and jump with the occaisional roller coming through.
Bailed pretty hard (front foot stuck in strap, skinned knuckles on board deck) after one botched gybe, so much for being used to sailing in real-world conditions :P
Wind up and down and water-state seemed to be changing every few minutes
