The Human Catapult returns
San Francisco Bay Candlestick Park
A fun but short session...
It felt like TeamDawg of last year, Kevin was around hanging out, Pedro was there with Sako, Jacob was rigging as I arrived and Aaron, who was in town for a wedding, was out on the water.
I went bigger since I had to be planing and it looked like the wind was shutting down. In the end it came back up so that I was fully powered on my 4.8 and Pedro/Aaron were going the whole time on their 4.4's.
Z arrived late and joined in also.
Just 5 dawgs on the water and 1 + a border collie on shore. Had some beers at the end before I had to rush off and catch an evening flight to Ottawa to visit my sister. I showed up late and had a short session but was really really glad I went.
No spocks though I got close, but just good to be around friends.
Maybe it's because I work from home, and Im' spoiled with the amount of wind etc. but for me the great windsurfing sessions are less about what I rigged, or how long I was on the water but rather who I share it with.
Light while I was rigging but it came back in a big way. Got off the water as it started to die then it really died.
