Two Sport Sunday

Lake Ontario Paradise Park

Surprise early morning text from Fathom asking if I'm interested in windsurfing "big gear". Uh sure! Beautiful day out, perfect temperature, nice breeze...I'll do that. We head out with big gear yielding bigger grins. Me chasing Fathom (now that's a change) as he zips around on his tweaked out dragster formula board, and me on the school bus / Bic Nova 180L. It's all good. I'm just glad I'm planing.

I head home for lunch with the wife and kids. I suggest a trip to our favourite spot, the beach by Whitby Yacht Club, for a little R&R with the little guy and wife. So nice there, perfect weather, and two guys out on older Mistral gear.

Get back home and my older son and I head up to Durham Forest for a grueling bike ride. We did everything backwards and spent more time climbing than doing descents, but we did find some great flowey downhill-ish sections.

Great day with friends and family!
