Nitinat Lake Nitinat

Awoke to fog back at the west end of the lake and clear, blue sky overhead and thought to myself, “This is going to be a solid day!”

Quotes of the session:

George: “Should be a lot like yesterday.”

Me: “With the inflow started early won’t it get stronger?”

George: “Not likely in August.” Well it did and we were both all smiles sharing some time on smaller gear later in the day.

Weather Conditions

Wind ***** (out of five stars)

VERY solid – solid shore to shore. Planing all the time (except in cases of operator error).

Water/Waves *** (out of five stars)

Similar to the day before (small chop), but larger (some swell off the river mouth).

Jumps **** (out of five stars)

Similar to the day before (Jumping in both directions with starboard favoured), but larger.

Stoke **** (out of five stars)

Stoked to see ‘July’ conditions shown up in August!
