San Francisco Bay Candlestick Park
Joined Matt down at the stick. He was on shore having tried to make 5.0 work and just not having fun. Forecast was promising and it looked good on the outside so I rigged up 4.8.
In the end had an ok time, powered 1/3 the time (really gusty). The guys on 6.0+ with slalom/freeride boards (Davide, Dan etc.) didn't fare much better and called it quits.
Z was there also, having taken advantage of the nanny being around today to sneak away from the baby for a sailing session. Hoping that I can manage the same when it's my turn!
Tried 4 flakas, 2 of which dug the nose in and rotated, awesome.
4 in a row starboard tack upwind 360's (awesome).
Sailed away from a vulcan clean. Spock still eludes me.
Gusty and choppy for the lack of power in the wind (turbulent)
