Great Saturday!

Hamilton Harbour Burlington - CCIW

Warm water and air temps! Can't ask for a more beautiful day. Enjoyed the morning and afternoon on 6.7m sail. Lots of people down there, and a few more kites than normal. Fun had by all. A mean looking storm started coming our way but I stayed on the water with a few others, it paid off as it brought a new wind direction of NW. So I was basically planing straight out towards Stelco and then back towards the bird islands. Eventually a brutal storm came in around 4:30pm and that was when we called it a day.

Tried a new mount on my helmet for the GoPro. Looks pretty good. Will try a boom mount next time and perhaps one at the top of the mast. Work is really busy right now so no time to make videos.

Hope for more days like this! Good to see everyone down there.
