High Risk High Reward

Lake Ontario Victoria Avenue

First time sailing Victoria Avenue which speaks to how rare an extended NE blow without torrential rain is. Friday was work but there was some reward. The exhausting part was the rodeo ride on the outside where there was very little in the way of organized waves. The rewards were the ample starboard tack ramps heading out and the frontside rideable waves on the way in. Highlight was a front row seat to the Casey show who makes everything look so incredibly easy. 3.5 hours and I was DONE. Thanks very much to JF who kept me in the loop with all the rest of the crew that were there and for taking some great photos. Great group of guys! Time for a NW/W blow already...

Weather Conditions

Crazy waves on the outside, nice ramps and waves on the inside. STRONG winds!
