Fun on the front side

Lake Ontario Lakeridge Rd.

This was the best of the four days in a row of sailing. I've come to realize that I would rather have nice conditions than nutty winds. My first run out I went with the 5.2M on the 95L Quad but with the current there was not enough to keep myself up wind. This yielded a long walk of shame that required climbing a set of stairs as waves bashed me in the back. I came back to get the 105L and all was great from there on.

Some shore break to get out through but nothing insane, but once out there....WOW! talk about perfect! Nice clean waves almost all the way out. Once way out there the waves were rolling mast high. Coming back in they were logo high glassy smooth half pipes with huge spacing, and closer to shore was over head high, still glassy smooth and oh so fun to ride on. For me, personal best of most front side links. I'm sure they were nothing flashy but oh so much fun.

Wind backed off a bit so Fathom and I rigged bigger. I went out on the 5.8M and had some more amazing rides.

Loved this day! So much fun, in such perfect conditions.
