Session 2 - Second Try

da Gorge Waterfront Park / White Salmon Bridge

It was really fun geeting out when it didn't feel like a fight. A little bit of redemtion! The day ended with riNR’s favourite diner - $10 spaghetti (with salad bar) at Pietro’s!

Weather Conditions

Wind was puffy but fairly consistent direction and better aligned with the river.

Flat at the launch gradually building to nice rolling swell on the north side of the River near the White Salmon Bridge. Swell was rideable on the north side of the river for sure.

Stoke on the swell. But no stoke on shore – quiet a bit of concern actually, as one sailor got separated from his board in the centre of the channel. Stayed with his rig and was towed to Wells Island by another sailor. Eventually swam from Wells Island to the Hook and then walked back to the launch and his anxious wife.
