The last day on earth

Ontario Ajax Paradise Park

Tomorrow is the end of the world according to the Mayans, so when rINR tried to twist my arm to sail on a Dec 20th, I did not say no too long, esp. looking out the window and it was honking.

Threw the suit into the dryer for a few minutes, dressed up at home and met up with rINR 5min later. He was rigging 5.0, Hangloose texted 4.2, so I rigged 4.2 (which required more downhaul after a few runs).

It was really nice to be able to sail so late in the season and with good company.

Only negative was smallish waves when we first started and building and forearms did start to cramp up as soon as I tried to ride for any length of time without harness.

The new NPX 5mm split finger glove (thanks to rINR for picking them up at Silent Sport) were extremely warm. I'd say NPX>Dakine mitts>Glacier.

Stopped after 2 hrs because the forearms were tired (NPX forearm too tight eventhough the suit is one size larger) and have to go to work.

Drove home in my suit, got in the shower, and got change...nice luxury!

Amazing we were out today Dec 20, 3C, water 8C. Bring on the end of the world.

Weather Conditions

waist to overhead swell, cleaned up at the end of the session
