Better than expected

Ontario Paradise

Expected low 20's today, but when we (rINR and I) it looks windier than that.

So took out the 4.2, waves were starting to build. However

1- went over the handle bar on a big port jump and hitting the boom with my chest . Thank goodness for the suit and jacket, otherwise it would be no fun in PSC with broken ribs. DId find out later I punctured the window in the process.

2- I was getting bounced around a bit.

So..rigged 3.5 on the new 340cm mast. The whole thing was ridiculously light and with the shorter mast very responsive in the gust. It was too small for the 69L so it was 2hr of 3.5 and 85L.

Waves were getting bigger and bigger to logo high.

Fun watching rINR going on and on front side.

After 3-4hrs, we were beat.

Highlight was a tight jibe against a logo high steep wave and riding it all the way back.

Weather Conditions

Windier and bigger than expected
