Shiny Turd

Lake Simcoe Beaverton and Heritage

After hanging around waiting for my wife to get home I shot up to Beaverton. When I got the some guy was telling his friend that 6.7M was too much. I rigged 6.3 M and 105L just in time to get out there as the wind died. I came back in put the 6.3M on the 140L and got planing a couple of times here and there but practiced tacking so it wasn't a waste. Noticed that it looked windier to the north, almost like the wind was lifting off the water. I took Doug's advice and shot up to Heritage. I was definitely windier but I rigged up the 7.4M / 140L combination but still only planing on and off. Called it a day.

Weather Conditions

boring and lite wind
