Cool Dad!

Lake Ontario Pleasant Bay Camp

I was hanging around in between breakfast and lunch and talking to one of the other guys there helping out when over his should I notice its white capping. Then I notice slight wind shift, temperature change. A band of rain moves through and then a noticeable pressure drop and further temperature change. I quickly excuse myself and into the suit. Now the rain is teaming down and they're all asking if I'm nuts. I reply the worst thing is I might get wet. Onto the water and it is LIT UP! I wished I had rigged smaller but flattened it out instead. Luckily the rain stopped and the sun came out. A full on lock and load session with some goofy footed front side ride attempts but the waves weren't long enough for more than 1 or 2 turns. Great time! It was fun to see about 60 kids sitting on the shore and watching at one point. Lots of questions followed, and for a second or so, I was a "Cool Dad"
