Spock rehab done.. now time for neck rehab

San Francisco Bay Candlestick Park

After running errands on Saturday and swinging by the stick to snap some photos of the gang windsurfing, I was prepped for windsurfing Sunday.

Made it out to find a solid crew present but waiting around for the wind to pick up. It looked patchy but good, so I was part of the early crew to head out on 4.8 and.....*schlog* hm....

Eventually gusts came rolling through, then the wind picked up until I was full power on 4.8.

Standard fare of freestyle day. I was happy to sail out of two spock 540's and botch the sail flip on a spock, so those are starting to come again. All the rust is shaken off!

Unfortunately, after 2 flat water loops and countless spock crashes catching the heel edge, I felt my neck get a bit stiff. I kept sailing but only gybing before turning in early. As I write this the neck day, I've got another strained neck.... second time in as many months (first surfing, now windsurfing).

White collar injurys.... I need to start stretching, strengthening and paying attention to my office setup more.

Overall a fun day... but sucks that I injured myself.

Asma was working on her flakas (early stages), and Sofi trying upwind initated flakas (en route to air flakas) and an amazing burner. They are the coolest parents ever :)
