Season Opener

Georgian Bay Beach 1

Season opener at Wasaga Beach 1. Would have hit Allenwood but had some kiting friends hitting Beach 1 so I tagged along. Solid 5.0 conditions, pinned to the beach for a while and then it shifted west producing some port tack jumps on the way out and nice head to logo high, long back side rides coming in. Drysuit was the order for today with zero degree temps. Left some gas in the tank for tomorrow. I figure two straight days of 20+ knot winds should jack up some monsters off the lower bowl tomorrow. Would love to sail with some others if the long drive and cold temps don't deter you. 5 degrees and sun tomorrow, should be balmy compared to today!

Weather Conditions

Cold season opener on Georgian Bay. Windy, wavy and lots of fun. Solo session.
