I'm getting desperate

Hamilton Harbour CCIW

Wind was 11kts with 18kt gusts. As a wise man once said.. "the gusts were worth the price of admission".

I'd be planing, then off the plane, then on again. I just needed more power!!! I had fun on the 6.7m sail, but am dying to purchase an 8.5m+ sail for these types of days. Any day now when I see a good deal I'm going to be on it. If only I had another 3-4kts I know I'd stay on that plane.

Beautiful night and warm water temps. Can't wait for a day of 20kts+!!!

As I was de-rigging I saw 3 OPP Police officers pull into the CCIW parking lot on motorcycles. They ate their McDonalds dinner on a picnic table and the fat one of the bunch got up and proceeded to urinate on a bush. As I left they exited ahead of me and on the QEW all jumped in the HOV lane. While I'm all for a police presense at CCIW I do question their professionalism! Too bad I didn't have my GoPro on during that interesting situation, as I'm sure it would have turned into a viral video on YouTube!

Weather Conditions

A little wavy, gusts were satisfying, still need more wind.
