San Francisco Bay Haskins
While Winter was off at play group with Jenn I managed to sneak away for a quick windsurf session.
I had a hard time choosing between 4.5 and 4.8 and in the end chose correctly with the 4.8. Had alot of fun on the super flat water (tide was lower than the previous day).
Nailed 2 flakas and lots of spocks because of the flat water.
Kevin saw one of my early flakas and said it looked good. Fast rotation.
+ Feeling way more confident at flakas now, and preferring flat water to my previous preference for chop
+ Got a tip from Kevin on shore that over-rotation was likely a side effect of me not keeping the sail luffed (letting the sail / clew pass through the wind too early)... let the board finish more of the rotation before braining the sail along
Still some lulls but was planing the majority of the time
