Father's day heat-wave - Spockalicious

San Francisco Bay Candlestick Park

Father's day so lots of dads were on call to hit the water. With the heat-wave + a marine surge, the spots to go were Treasure Island and the Stick but with TI flooding, lots of people made it to the Stick.

Looked windy when I arrived and I was thinking 4.8. Kevin came and rigged 4.4, but I wasn't buying it... there was lots of wind but also holes, and I wanted to be planing as much as I could.

Got an amazing 1h on the water. After talking to Dan on shore sharing that I'd settled into Spocks on starboard and flakas on port and that they were getting close in consistency due to regressing on the spocks.

Highlight number 1 was the first reach which just felt like a great classic candlestick day. Highlight of the session was getting 4 spocks in a row, including 2 on the same reach.

The wind then died and didn't come back, but a beer on shore was the icing on the cake.
