Sandbanks Oct 29 video report

Primal..feral.. thats how I heard it described. Heavy wind probably 35kts+ from 10-3pm survival sailing. I launched from the grassy point halfway to mac's (LOWER LOWER MACS???  :x )
its a good spot when its wsw like that the flat ledge is smooth @ the launch and it lets you out into the huge rollers jacking up as they approach the beach. The waves in the middle of the bay were massive gybing on the face and turning back toward shore you were presented with a massive u shaped bowl with a view framed by the wall of the wave behind and the wall of the wave in front. you could see the farmhouses and cars on shore. Long backside rides trying to survive being overpowered and then a gybe on the smooth inside water to head back out into the madness.
for me it was a 3.7 and 76l single fin until around 230pm mostly overpowered the whole time.
primal !

Mega blender! Wow, Looked fun, in a glad I didn't get injured or die sort of way :D You are right about primal.
Glad you hit it, and the video(s) are great. I am a fan of LLM, nice entry to the mid bay rollers.
Spent the day surfing on Lake E, tucked away from the super froth. Hard to believe 4M @ 10 secs on a LAKE!
Later!

And a great little vid from NicChap who selflessly filmed all day in the cold wind:
