Been out on Balsam a few times. Thin snow cover with ice patches. Ice near shore is rough. Had a big melt 2 days ago so use discretion near creeks and rivers.

Is Simcoe frozen yet?

thanks..^^
we were out at rice lake again today..my self and a kite-skater..
much better than expected, i was on the 4.2 again..and really powered at time..buddy was on a 3m kite, with skates.
different spot today, yesterdays spot was being turned into a motorcycle track..so might be a bit rough there..
went to north shore, less snow than the south shore, again bumpy-ish ice near shore, but huge sheets of glassy ice out a ways.
probably be in pigeon lake and chemong area tomorrow to check a few spots.. and hopefully therell a bit of breeze, and good ice.
anyone out in the area?

Your welcome. Do you realize how long it took me to get it like that with my Zamboni?

Likewise with the Zamboni. It really rips now! I put a blower on it and a NOS kit....now I can put a spit shine on the lake in half the time.
I'm afraid of those ice boards. Speed + hard surface falls = pain / broken bones < did I just say that?

Pfew! That's a relief! When I first looked at your posting I hadn't logged in so it wouldn't let me see the image. Once I logged in I was relieved to see that you weren't hoping my Zamboni could iron out your wrinkles....
