Snow skier keeps turning upwind...

Postby Tony » Tue Jan 17, 2006 8:44 pm

Hi there,

I was trying a snow skier today before the freezing rain hit.

Got a couple of good rides, but, the beast had a tendancy to want to turn upwind.

Is moving the mast forward the only remedy? Is mast foot pressure (ie weight in the harness) a factor as it is on a sailboard? Moving the mast forward seems to move the harness lines away from where I'm standing...

I'm running on 200 cm skiis at this time on a wind skier like the ones in the photo gallery.

Advice from any of the 'winter experts' appreciated, thanks,

Tony

Get a kitewing and you will never have that problem again. www.ottawakites.com
