Line length for seat
Do you need a slightly longer line length when using a seat rather than waist harness?

If in well powered conditions, no.
If you plan to schlog through lulls hooked in, probably.
I think best time for a seat harness is in powered-up blasting conditions where you hook in, and stay hooked in & planing until tack/jibe.

My older waist harness yes, it has a low hook. My newer waist harness no, the hook is just above the bellybutton. So check where the hook is.
